Title: Network Solution Designer
Location: Research Triangle Park-NC
Looking candidates with experience in any of the following domain
Requirements
Industry experience of over eight (8) years
CCNP or higher level of Cisco certification is preferred
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Working experience in presales program
POSITION 1 - COLLABORATION:
o UCCE/UCCX/IP Telephony/Telepresence design and implementation experience
o Good Knowledge of Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager 6.x through 9.x
o Knowledge of Cisco Voice Gateways and signaling protocols SIP/H.323/MGCP
o Good Knowledge of Cisco Unified Unity/Unity Connection 9.x
POSITION 2 - DATA CENTER:
o Cisco Nexus 1K/3K/ 5K/6K/7K/9K, Catalyst 6500 & other switching platforms
o Configuration of datacenter features like vPC, Fabricpath, TRILL, FCoE, OTV, vPC+
o Virtualization solutions from VMWare, Citrix or Microsoft
o SAN switches from Cisco and/or Brocade
o Load balancers from Cisco, F5 or Citrix, and WAN optimization solutions from Cisco or Riverbed
POSITION 3 - MOBILITY:
o Good understanding of LTE/UMTS and its evolution.
o Working experience on network elements of LTE packet core (SGW/PGW/MME) is expected.
o Hands-on design, implementation or deployment expertise CISCO ASR platform (ASR5500
o Knowledge of protocols and interfaces GTP-C, GTP-U, DIAMETER RADIUS, PMIP etc.
o Good understanding of end to end procedures, service flows (eg. VoLTE) and interoperability scenarios is expected.
POSITION 4 - ROUTING AND SWITCHING:
o Hands-on design, implementation or deployment expertise in Cisco Networking solution
o Hands on Experience on at least any 3-4 cisco products - CRS-1/CRS-3/CRS-X, GSR 12000, 7600, ASR9K/ASR1K, 7200, Catalyst 6500/4500/3850 , Nexus 7K/5K/2K, ISRs
o Working knowledge and experience BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS, IPv6, Multicast is a must
POSITION 5 - NETWORK SECURITY:
o Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP)
o Experience in designing security solutions like Cisco Cleanpipe , RTBH, CoPP, iACL , DNSSEC, Netflow and Multicast security for major SP networks
o Design DDoS detection and mitigation solution for SP networks; experience in integrating Cisco products with 3rd party solutions like Arbor for DDoS mitigation
o Configuring Cisco ASA Firewall (IOS ver. 8.2 & 8.4) - Network Address Translation (NAT) and Port Address Translation (PAT), Security context, Failover, ACLs, port channel, Interface redundancy, ISP redundancy, transparent firewall
o Security, Firewalls, access and perimeter control, vulnerability management and intrusion detection
o Strong knowledge in VPN: Design, Implementation Scenarios, Connectivity troubleshooting and other Algorithms such as DES, 3DES, MD5, SHA, PKI, IPSEC Site to Site & Remote Access VPN
o Implementation and Configuration of IPS - Tuning signatures, creating custom signatures. Promiscuous mode and Inline mode deployment
o Implementing and Configuration of Identity Management Authentication and Authorization & Accounting using ACS/ISE
o Good working knowledge of Security related products like IPS/IDS, UTMs like URL Filtering, AV, Anti-Spam and High Availability
o CISSP certification is preferred
