Job Summary:
Will work in the media sciences team responsible for supporting the team to develop an analytically driven media and message mix optimization strategy, and drive improvement of media effectiveness. This position requires knowledge in a solid aptitude of the traditional as well as digital media landscape and understands the media mix model. The person will serve as a sr. modeler responsible for various BAU and ad-hoc media data analysis and ensuring MMM modeling and forecasting/optimization accuracy. Core Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on media mix model outputs to ensure model validity and business sense
Forecast trends across traffic drivers (sales call volume, site traffic, etc, products, sales channels and regions, and identify opportunities for driving business growth
Utilize media mix model to help inform and align division and corporate media strategies/planning by providing forecasts, analysis and direction on media mix effectiveness and giving recommendations for future media planning/buying
use predictive and advanced analytics to support various ad-hoc business request and needs.
Translate and clearly communicate sophisticated, action-oriented, insightful, and analytical information to be socialized to varying audiences
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Requirements:
5+ years of business experience using data analytics and predictive modeling to drive business/marketing results in, ideally, multiple information-dense, consumer-facing industries (e.g., consumer packaged goods, retail, financial services, telecommunications)
Experience in media planning or media strategy is a preferred.
master degree in a quantitative discipline (typically statistics, mathematics, econometrics, business with quantitative specialty)
Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong work ethic and a team player, be flexible and nimble in terms of work planning, and the ability to think quickly on your feet
Advanced in SQL, R and SAS programming
Experience with Tableau and big data platform.
