Title: PowerBuilder Developer [XTGL_]
Location: Lansing, MI
Type: 12 Months Contract
Description:
Strong PowerBuilder coding expertise for versions 7 through 12, experience with the PowerBuilder Foundation Class Library (PFC)
Strong skills in creating SQL objects, writing database scripts, and preparing packages, stored procedures, functions, and Triggers.
Strong oral/written communication skills. Demonstrated experience with presentation and cross functional communication
Knowledge of structured programming, object-oriented programming, relational database constructs.
Knowledge of the fundamental concepts and operating principles of data communication and data processing hardware and software.
Skills to perform thorough unit tests for programs and software applications to ensure a quality product.
Ability to work with a code repository, including check in and check out of code and documentation.
Skills in C# .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Transact SQL (T-SQL), MS Visual Studio, and MS Office Suite highly desired.
Ability to provide quality customer service, build trust through integrity of work, and build strategic relationships through teamwork.
Ability to communicate technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience.
