RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze & Design:
Resolve comments and/or seek clarifications from team on functional design documents across business process area.
Build:
Build programs/JCLs/PROCs independently with minimal oversight.
Participate as a developer in a team environment with one or more project technologies (see below
Perform code and design reviews for peers.
Testing:
Perform unit testing/system testing/integration testing.
Prepare system test scripts.
Perform System Integration Testing for programs or modules led.
Deployment Activities:
Participate with Release Manager/Technical Leads to work towards planning for project/product deployment and also involve in all the activities around deployment for developed program units.
Value Add:
Should be able to think laterally and see improvement opportunities in the code and suggest improvements to leads/managers.
Post Deployment Activities:
Resolve incidents/problems reported and also perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues.
Deliverables:
Document and maintain deliverables such as Code/BRDs/Design/Test Plans and Scripts/Deployment Plan.

Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience.
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and innovative approach to finding resolutions.
Must have experience with one or more of the following:
Strong experience in both Visual and Non-Visual Windows-based Development using PowerBuilder development suite.
Strong experience developing code-behind using embedded SQL, PowerScript, stored procedures, and other development technologies.
Expertise in back-end development with SQL, REST, WCF, & WPF.
Experience developing in the PowerBuilder Enterprise development environment, ALM using Microsoft TFS and other PowerBuilder compatible source code control systems.
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R3, 2012 and above database development required with T-SQL.
Oracle 11G and above database development required with PL/SQL.
IBM DB2 database development required.
Object Oriented full lifecycle software design and development.
Development experience in Windows-based application technologies including Microsoft VB.NET and CNET.
Experience writing end-user reports with Microsoft SSRS, SAAS, and other business intelligence platforms.
COBOL experience a plus but not required.
Functional knowledge with health and human services public sector experience a plus.
