Capable of designing and developing on Power BI Semantic Layer
Experience in optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization
Able to write queries and transformations with T-SQL
Gathering and documenting requirements, based on discussions with clients’ business and technology team members
Be hands on with development of reports, analytics and visualizations development, and write code when called upon, SQL, tuning, data models, semantic models, or other.
Works with business analysts and end users from cross functional teams to capture reporting requirements, and translating those to technical designs, architecture patterns for enterprise business intelligence implementation.
Implement solutions using Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologies
Performs extensive data analysis including data profiling and data quality analysis.
Design ETL logic and load strategies along with reporting functions.
Understand business problems and proactively offer technical solutions, using traditional and emerging concepts and technologies.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a manner that a business expert can understand.
Discover, communicate, and offer mitigations for data quality issues.
