Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer for Signal/Noise Analysis
Location: Irwindale, CA
Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Responsible for Bench setup support of existing systems, generating and analyzing data, automating existing setups, root-cause analysis of technical issues on existing setups, support electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analysis of existing and new products, noise analysis and reduction, correlation of new setups to existing and old setups.

Engage vendors to come up with alternate signa/noise-test setups that are reliable and dependable for manufacturing release. Work with vendors for RFQs, requesting loaners, performing dry runs, capital equipment procurement, implementation, correlation activity and release to production.

Job responsibility will also include identifying programming old and new bench setups for data gathering, data crunching and report generation.

Understanding PCB/Cable design, test and manufacturing is an important part of the job.

Job includes responsibility for specific process or engineering areas.

Independent decision making is an important trait and critical for this position.

Identifying potential implementation issues that impact schedule and communicating them immediately to management is an essential job function.

Skills Required:

Experience in Bench test setups that analyze signals, noise, impedance, resistance, capacitance, inductance
Experience in electromechanical production environments solving manufacturing test related issues.
Experience in lean manufacturing techniques.
Exposure to RF/Microwave Engineering
Experience in PCB design/debug, Soldering
Correlation Exercise in New Product development prior to Release to Manufacturing
Exposure to New Product Design and Release to Production flows
Experience developing C# or LabView software for test automation/ATE.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
Preparing precise and High-Quality updates on project status
Clarity of thought when communicating with peers and management
Knowledge and prior experience working with Medical Devices/Products is a PLUS
