Job Description :
Required Expertise:
· BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent job experience
· 7 years plus Microsoft SQL Server programming experience
· Strong knowledge and experience working with current versions of Microsoft SQL server
· Exceptional T-SQL knowledge spanning all areas.
· Experience of performance tuning and debugging of databases and database objects
· Experience creating, debugging and tuning complex SQL queries
· Experience of deadlock scenarios and resolution
· Experience in schema design, normalization and optimization
· Strong knowledge of database locking mechanisms, transaction management including those that may span across multiple servers.
· Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design
· Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
· Experience of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) applications
· Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
· knowledge/ experience of SQL Server source control tools such as Team Foundation Server or Redgate.
· Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments
· Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
· Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives
· Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
· Technical documentation skills
· Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
· Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
· Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
