Power BI Architect
10+ years of experience is required
8+ yrs solid experience in designing & implementing solutions for BI and Reporting.
Demonstrated experience in developing and/or assisting team with complex Power BI visualizations.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft tools including SSRS, SQL, DAX & Power BI & strong knowledge of AAS, SSAS.
Demonstrated experience in working with VSTS and Scrum methodology.
Demonstrated experience on Power BI Service, Gateways, Workspaces.
A strong senior person or architect who can:
1. See/understand the end to end architecture of this project from source system to EDW to data model to PowerBI
2. Provide input/guidance on how to improve/update EDW architecture to be scalable/flexible to accommodate additional metrics/requirements for future sprints (how can we improve the EDW architecture
3. Hands-on experience, building/updating/extending EDW architecture and data models (should we have one data model by geo market for example? If so, why? How can we split current architecture to accommodate this without impacting overall timeline
4. Collaborating with PowerBI developer and team
5. Understand VSTS/Scrum/Sprint timelines and think forward during backlog grooming on how best to accommodate the sprint deliverables
6. Be flexible to accommodate changing needs – thus scalability/flexibility of architecture is key.
