Job Description :
Principal Responsibilities:
Senior Functional Architect (SFA) applies a detailed business understanding and technical knowledge and project management principles to create and improve systems.
The SFA will participate from the early stages of an initiative, working with product management and the PMO, to develop a Power BI based management reporting process, focusing on data acquisition, retention and presentation of data from many dispirit sources including JIRA, SPLUNK, ALM.
SharePoint administration experience will be required as this is the primary presentation platform. This position provides guidance to team members by elaborating the necessary details required through all phases of projects. This means facilitating the development of, and analyzing:
Business processes
Participating in application design
Supporting development teams and testing.
The SFA must possess:
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to translate complex business processes into easy to understand language.
This position requires working closely with the technical and governance functions, reviewing and interpreting technical designs and specifications, and producing schedules.
Experience:
Minimum of 9 years’ experience in IT and/or Financial Services systems and operations, including at least 5 years experience in application development and testing (2+ years management experience preferred (2+ years project management experience is preferred)
