Job Title: Platform Support Administrator for visualization tools and technologies
Location: Bentonville, AR.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
History of experience in administering Analytical and BI reporting platforms with expertise in 2 of 3 (Tableau/alteryx and cognos
Knowledge – of deploying enterprise solutions , Knowledge of 3 Tools is must (PowerBI/SPSS/Tableau/SAS / ESRI/Cognos/Alteryx/LOOKER/MINITAB/POWERBI)
Windows and Linux server configuration knowledge
Strong communication skills – this will be client facing
Need to be able to work on incident, problem and change management, communicate with leaders in stipulated SLA''s
5+ Years of overall experience & 3+ years of 2 Tools Development Experience.
Expertise from dashboard design/development to deployment/maintenance.
Hands-on skills with use of action filters, user filters, advanced navigation techniques, Level-of-Detail (LOD) expressions.
Hands-on skills and deep experience working with the latest Tableau Server version, its Administration and the Maintenance.
Experience working with Extracts, Live datasets, managing access privileges. Familiarity with various technologies SDK architecture.
Expertise building web applications using Tableau/Aletryx/cognos Javascript API is prefreable
Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and technologies.
Experience working on teams with multiple Technologies developers.
Familiarity with stored procedures, query performance tuning and ETL in order to troubleshoot issues with dashboard.
Desirable Technical Skills:
Working experience with the following technologies: Hadoop, HBase, Pig, SQL
Experience with Teradata is a must. Should be good in writing SQL.
Tableau/Alteryx/Cognos certification will be a plus.
Mandatory Functional Skills:
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
Desirable Functional Skills:
Retail Domain Knowledge
