PL/SQL Application Developer

Long term Project
Job Function:
Develop PL/SQL based applications to support applications used by internal Sales Team and Corporate Team.
Create new Oracle tables and load PL/SQL load processes to support user requested enhancements for a Reporting / Dashboard environment. Analyze existing table structures and load process and recommend performance improvements. Analyze user queries and recommend query changes, new table structures and indexes to enhancement performance.
Skills:
Experience as Project DBA in Oracle 11 environment
Oracle Project DBA Skills – Create Tables, Indexes, Tune Queries
PL/SQL - Write Table Load processes using Oracle Stored Procedures
Unix Shell Scripting – Write Shell Scripts to execute Table Load processes using Team Provided template.
SQL Query Tuning – Tune User Queries, and current DB Load processes
It would also be highly desirable to have Java and Java script experience as well. HTML experience would be a benefit as well. Before presenting the candidate for an on-site or phone interview, we would like the agency to have them take some form of agency-provided test (oral, written, or both) to validate that they have the skills they are claiming to have. For interviews done exclusively over the phone, we will want some form of proof that the candidate being interviewed is indeed the one that will show up to the job. Considerations could be to use Skype of Facetime for the phone interviews
