Performance Tester
Location: Framingham, MA
Duration: 6-12 months plus
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop and build performance testing software and scripts.
Execute system performance testing in multiple systems and environments.
Experience integrating performance tools into CI/CD pipelines
Experience/Knowledge with Agile Software Development methodologies
Deliver comprehensive performance testing reports and make recommendations to appropriate cross-functional teams.
Provide technical assistance during code reviews to ensure adherence to established coding and architectural standards.
Experience with performance testing tools (Jmeter/SilkPerformer preferred)
Experience with performance monitoring tools for application and infrastructure (NewRelic Preferred
Strong knowledge on log analysis tool Splunk.
Strong knowledge on web performance tuning and maintenance techniques.
Lead the collaboration effort on performance tuning applications and systems under test
Knowledge on SQL & NoSQL DBs
Client-Side Performance Testing and Analyzing knowledge (WebPageTest is preferred)
Knowledge on Java Heap & thread dumps analysis
Strong knowledge on Linux
Azure knowledge (preferred)
Other Skills or Abilities:
Retail experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of system integration.
Knowledge of cloud-based system architecture design
Experience with development languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc
Web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, XML/XSLT etc preferred
