Role: Performance/Capacity Tester
Location(In preference order): 1. Eden Prairie, MN 2. Portland, OR 3. Raleigh, NC
Position: IT – Capacity / Performance Management Analyst
Contract: Contract to hire
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
Strong experience in applications performance engineering process (like gathering SLA metrics, writing Scripts and execution, analysis, help with tuning etc
Experience with Gatling and Neoload is a must. Also requires Load Runner and Performance Center experience.
Agile experience
Experience in WebService and end to end UI performance testing
Experience with analysis and detailed performance monitoring
Ability to determine client expectations and take initiative
Strong sense of urgency and able to script and assist in multiple projects
Ability to work non-standard hours
Develop a workload simulation matrix and determine scripting scenarios
Work experiences with Unix commands and shell scripting
Familiarity with performance testing techniques for Mobile applications.
Experience implementing automated performance testing in a Continuous Integration environment.
Understanding of Internet protocols and programming, including HTTP, HTML, XML and JSON.
Programming experience (OOAD, Java, Web Services Technologies, SOAP and/or REST)
Configuring and analyzing the application and Load Balancer servers (WebSphere, JBoss and LoadBalancer)
Solid background understanding backend business logic and working with Open shift environment V3 and NGIS servers.
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
Neoload, Gatling, HP LoadRunner , Unix shell, Dynatrace, DC Rum, New relic, Splunk, Fiddler, Wireshark etc
What skills/attributes are a must have?
Excellent scripting experience with Neoload and Gatling
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Scala programming language
What are the work hours?
9 Am to 6PM
