Job Description :
Proficient in various types of Performance testing like - Load testing, Stress testing, Spike testing, Volume testing etc.
Hands on experience in designing, implementing and executing Load test scripts.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues in the load and performance environment.
Analyze application parameters like response time, memory usage, thread dumps, CPU utilization, throughput, latency, disk usage and network utilization.
Based on performance testing results, should be able to recommend required code changes, application tuning etc.
Expert in configuring Load test environments.
Strong technical background in Performance testing techniques, Tools and understanding of Application architecture.
Experience in Performance testing of web applications, web services and back end applications.
Should be able to document and review performance test results with external groups/stake holders.
Thorough understanding of Databases, web server and Application server is required. Oracle/WebSphere/Tomcat
Demonstrate ability to manage and drive multiple projects within a dynamic environment.
Experience in a global, multi-site, multi-function shared services environment is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Technical Skills Required
Strong background in the full Software Testing Life-Cycle (STLC
Expert level experience with HP Load Runner/Performance Center is a must.
Release management and production certification.
Experience with the following environments/languages Java, .Net, *nix, C/C++, Mainframe, Midrange, X86, ILOG JRules, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat.
Experience with multiple protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, TCP and technologies like JSON, HTML, XML and web services.
Experience with Performance test tools like JMeter, SoapUI, Fiddler, Firebug etc is plus.
Experience with diagnostics tools to identify root cause like SiteScope, Wily and AppDynamics
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor''s degree in related technical field; Master''s degree preferred
12+ years in Performance Testing.
12+ years using HP Load Runner.
12+ years using other Performance Test Tools.
