Looking for a 5+ years experienced Performance Engineer who has a Strong understanding of Performance testing methodologies.
We are looking for Performance Engineer who can measure, analyze, monitor, manage, and optimize performance and scalability of multiple applications. You will work with development and QA teams to design, architect and develop large-scale performance testing projects, oversee their implementation and remediate performance issues. You will create test tools and automated test suites that are robust and reusable, allowing our teams to deliver high quality, scalable products more efficiently. You will also provide leadership and mentoring on best practices, prioritization and technical direction for performance engineering. Must be excellent in script creation, execution and troubleshooting for complex issues. Strong verbal and written communication skill is must. This resource works very quickly to resolve high impact, challenging, engineering problems while continuously raising the standard of quality in our products and services.
Responsibilities
Ability to lead performance optimization efforts
Participate in performance test requirements reviews
Working with multiple projects across multiple technology stacks.
Strong experience in Silk Performer / Gatling script creation, execution and troubleshooting
Strong defect identification and triaging skills
Ability to direct toward root cause analysis of issues and to clearly communicate finding to management leadership
Strong skills in test results analysis and review
Develop test framework, automated test scripts and utility tools.
Qualifications/Skills
Strong understanding of Performance testing methodologies.
Self-starter" attitude with an ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Expert in root cause Analysis of performance defects.
Programming skills with Java, J2EE and C preferably in a high volume hosted environment is big Plus
Test script creation, execution and troubleshooting for complex issues
Familiarity with web load simulation tools like Silk Performer, Gatling, JMeter, or comparable tools.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tool such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc.
Ability to write tests for monitoring and identifying problems, including performance bottlenecks, in a distributed system.
Knowledge of web and application servers such as Apache, Jboss, Tomcat
Knowledge of database like Oracle, MSSql Server etc
Experience working with high volume interconnected web applications or customer-facing software products.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong understanding and hands on experience with storage, server and network hardware/software architecture.
