Job Description :
1. PeopleSoft application knowledge and experience with PeopleTools and Application Designer, in general, and our P/S financial application systems General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and/or Capital Projects.
2. Batch program types – experience with developing and testing COBOL (DB2 & non-DB2) and SQR
3. Strong understanding of mainframe batch processing. i.e. understanding of mainframe concepts like CA7, CA11, JES2, Operating System concepts, and storage management. There are others, such as……JCL, jobstream construction, procs, parms, IBM utilities such as IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, IDCAMS, SORT, REXX, etc
4. DB2 database concepts – tables, indexes, and unload utilities
5. Development and migration tools such as Endevor, Service Now, UDeploy and Harvest
6. Reasonable communication skills, both oral and written
