Job Description:
Financial Information Services Agency (FISA) has a vacancy for Sr. PeopleSoft Developer to perform design, development and maintenance of NYCAPS PeopleSoft HCM applications such as Core HR, Benefits, Absence Management, Performance Management, Workers Compensation, Payroll and Oracle Recruitment solutions such as TAM, CG, or TALEO. He/she work as a techno-functional expert with good understanding of business processes for developing and maintaining new applications for PeopleSoft (HCM); will work with end users, Application Development and Product Owner team members to accomplish the design, coding, testing, and implementation of new applications to satisfy business needs. Specific job duties will include technical oversight and assessment of application and system development projects to ensure technical integrity and compliance with design requirements, conduct appropriate technical reviews and prepare formal evaluations of all key deliverables and work products associated with the design, coding and build of the application or software configuration including the application architecture, technical specifications, application coding, unit testing, and integration testing; Work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders in developing project plans, leading the development work on multiple projects in parallel and be responsible for completion of all the development work activities within the project timelines with competing priorities; establish appropriate software development standards and controls. Conduct technical reviews of the development work products and software development processes per plan and as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
