Peoplesoft Consultant/Business Analyst

Locations: Charlotte, NC or Winston Salem, NC or San Francisco, CA or Chandler, AZ or Minneapolis, MN

12 month contract

?Consultant needed to provide strategic business solutions to enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of the most complex, strategic, corporate-wide business problems to be solved with automated systems. You will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. You must be able to work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Participate in transforming strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into specific system requirements and specifications. Recommend and initiate systems testing. Acts as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications:

5 -10 years of PeopleSoft experience with at least 2 years of PeopleSoft HRMS
5+ years of SQL experience
At least 10 years of requirement gathering, design and testing experience

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in PeopleSoft Recruiting Solutions, Core HR, Workforce Administration or Taleo
HP Quality Center
PeopleSoft Integrations and working with 3rd Party Vendors

Ideal candidates have a strong Business Analysis background working with transactional systems, and will be able to come up to speed quickly on our project focused on enhancing our Talent Acquisition application. Familiarity with Recruitment business processes is considered a nice to have.

Experience working in a large volume environment, and ability to work effectively with senior business partners is a required skill.

Other skills that will be key to success include:

- Developing a detailed understanding of the technical design governing the integration between Solution and our client/PeopleSoft HRMS.

- Identifying areas of complexity/opportunity between Solution and our client's/PeopleSoft HRMS which will need to be taken into account in working towards an eventual strategy.

- Summarizing detailed documentation, developing perspective on potential approaches to evolve into recommendations for the project leadership team.

- Ownership of the plan governing these activities with the expectation this work will stay on track and any adjustments to the plan will be communicated appropriately.

- In a later phase of this project the resource will work closely with assigned engineers to focus on execution activities, including functional design documentation, test planning and test execution.
