JOB TITLE: PeopleSoft Training Analyst

LOCATION: Austin, TX

DURATION: 4 Months with highly anticipated extension into FY 2019.

Responsibilities:

Oversees and/or performs highly advanced consultative services and analytical work in the support of the in the support of the CAPPS production system.
Evaluates business needs, analyzes processes and creates training materials using UPK, Articulate and other standard training development software.
Identifies problems and proposes innovative solutions.
Provides system expertise and training support
Communicates complex concepts clearly, accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Works with CAPPS technical and functional resources effectively
Oversees and/or participates in day-to-day management of the design, development, testing and implementation of the CAPPS training program; actively encourages and facilitates communication between the CAPPS Deployment team and the agency staff; and ensures that system training requirements are documented, complete, accurate and approved.
Delivers internal and external training in areas of expertise.
Provides functional expertise for the development and delivery of comprehensive training program to encompass, at minimum, the following PeopleSoft HCM modules AND Peoplesoft FSCM modules, in a highly customized complex environment for one of more Texas agencies:
o HCM 9.2 MSS/ESS
o HCM 9.2 Portal
o HCM 9.2 Core HR
o HCM 9.2 Position Management
o HCM 9.2 Payroll, including commitment Accounting
o HCM 9.2 Time and Labor or
o FSCM 9.2 General Ledger/Commitment Control
o FSCM 9.2 Accounts Payable
o PSCM 9.2 Purchasing/eProcurement
o FSCM 9.2 Asset Management

Required Experience:
8 years of experience in each of the following areas:
o Developing training materials including computer based training, training handouts, end-user aids and end-user manuals.
o Conducting presentations, providing instructor led training or facilitating workshops.
3 years of experience with highly complex ERP application requirements.
2 years of experience in each of the following areas:
o Developing comprehensive training program for ERP related systems,
o Working with Oracle’s UPK
o Working with PeopleSoft HCM9.x AND FSCM 9.x
Working knowledge with 2 or more of the following:
o HCM 9.2 Core HR
o HCM 9.2 Position Management
o HCM 9.2 Payroll, including commitment Accounting
o HCM 9.2 Time and Labor or
Working knowledge with 2 or more of the following:
o FSCM 9.2 General Ledger/Commitment Control
o FSCM 9.2 Accounts Payable
o FSCM 9.2 Purchasing/eProcurement
o FSCM 9.2 Asset Management

Desired Experience:
2 years of public sector experience
Experience working with Texas state government processes, policies and procedures.
Experience with both PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM
2 years proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products.

Specialty expertise in any of the following:
Enterprise Portal
State of Texas Mainframe Systems (e.g. USAS, USPS, SPRS, etc
State of Texas ERO (e.g. CAPPS)
State of Texas ERS Applications
Web Services
Texas SmartBuy
Cash Receipts

Desired Skills:
Able to work independently in a team environment with onsite and remote teams.,
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills,
Knowledge of technical and functional attributes of PeopleSoft.
Possess problem solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.
Experience with SDLC methodology,
Ability to develop training according to system specific functionality.
