Position Title: PeopleSoft Testing Lead for HUB Upgrade

Start Date: September 1st—March 18th, 2019
Location (onsite/remote): Onsite : St. Paul, MN. Onsite 5 days/week. (local preferred if possible On occasion, for travelers we might be able to do ½ day in the office on Friday.

Minimum Qualifications (Submit must have all these detailed in resume)
7 years’ combined experience serving as a testing coordinator in a large-scale technology modernization effort or ERP (large-scale is considered >$5 million or >35 Staff)
7 years’ experience developing testing strategies for enterprise software upgrades
7 years’ combined experience in developing and managing project reporting metrics and reports
Served as a Testing Lead for at least 1 Public Sector (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, Municipality) or Higher Education system deployment in the last 5 years
Desired Skills
Experience with PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions (FMS) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications and PeopleSoft Interaction Hub
Experience working on large projects with teams exceeding 50 staff
Experience creating team communications
Experience managing software vendors
Experience with all phases of an SDLC methodology (including design, build, test, deploy and stabilization phases)

Description of Project
This posting is for a PeopleSoft Testing Lead. Work will be designated on implementation of an Interaction HUB. This will be an upgrade to PeopleTools 8.56 and integration with the PeopleTools Suite of applications. This role will be key in establishing the testing strategy as well as timelines and testing plans.
Sample Tasks
Develop and maintain project testing methodology
Develop or confirm existing entry/exit criteria, scope and approach for each testing cycle and obtain sponsorship approval
Manage and communicate testing methodology across the various project teams
Update project plans, status metrics, risk/issues logs, and project reports as it relates to testing
Update progmilestone dates and open/close out proglevel tasks, action items and milestones, new projects, etc., follow up with action item owners to ensure the item is updated/completed
Escalate at-risk tasks to progmanager/director
Coordinate with team members to gain testing metrics
Update proglevel information with testing metrics
Monitor and assist with holding testing team members accountable for testing activities and due dates
Create, maintain and communicate standard project templates and documentation to the project teams as it relates to testing
Coordinate project team communications
Consistently provide support for internal and external stakeholder communications and progress reports that effectively outline the project status, risks, issues and action plans to ensure project success as it relates to testing
Create and maintain project deliverables that are strategically aligned with business objectives and defined for the team
Support the development of a detailed project schedule, project tasks, and interdependencies to achieve the scope through a clearly defined project plan/work breakdown structure for testing related activities
Maintain the progress-against-plan by reviewing defects and ensuring resolution in a timely manner
Participate in system go/no-go decisions
Support adherence to the approved project methodology
