Job Description:
This posting is specific for the Strategic Sourcing (SS) module lead for the enhancement project.
The Strategic Sourcing module lead will be responsible for assisting HHS with Functional Design, Configuration, Build, Test and
Deployment of the enhancements through go-live. The worker must have extensive knowledge of what is required to perform a PeopleSoft re-implementation for the Strategic Sourcing module. This position requires multi-tasking, exercising initiative and independent judgment.
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
8 Proven project team building skills
8 Experience writing detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
8 Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point)
6 Experience participating in large complex high availability PeopleSoft Financials implementation projects
6 Experience performing PeopleSoft System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test
6 Experience conducting design sessions with subject matter experts and business process owners to meet business requirements with minimal customizations.
4 Experience implementing PeopleSoft Purchasing version 9.0 or higher, including gathering business requirements, conducting and documenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration.
4 Experience as a PeopleSoft functional module lead for large PeopleSoft implementation.
4 Experience in IT project planning, research, analysis and development
4 Experience writing and reviewing detailed test scripts for System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases.
2 Experience designing, configuring, and testing PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) workflow approvals, version 9.1 or higher.
2 Experience implementing PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing version 9.0 or higher.
2 Experience gathering business requirements, conducting and documenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration for PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing module.
2 Experience with configuration documentation and review in PeopleSoft 9.2
2 Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53
1 Experience with the CAPPS State of Texas Baseline PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management
Strong Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
Strong Experience in managing and coordinating functional module leads through a PeopleSoft Implementation
