Job Description :
The Consultant will work with Clients''s business and IT professionals. Services to be provided by the Consultant include but are not limited to:
Configure Payroll Systems for Payroll Tax Treatment for Non-Resident Aliens
Proper configuration of withholdings in the payroll system
Configuration for the tracking of visas and tax treaties
Configure Employee/Employer tax withholding for employees who are non-residents of New York
Configuration to ensure proper payroll taxation of work state versus resident state
Review Clients internal business practices and recommend improvements, supporting Clients''s efforts to implement such improvements
Provide knowledge transfer of tax processing and PeopleSoft delivered functionality
Identify opportunities to retire customizations in the payroll system and restore delivered functionality
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The Consultant must possess the following minimum qualifications:
Seven years’ experience in employer/employee payroll taxation and payroll functions
Seven years’ experience using PeopleSoft Payroll for North America applications using versions 9.x and above
Five years’ experience filing and reconciling all U.S. taxes for federal, state and local taxation
Experience providing training to staff who manage payroll tax withholdings
Experience providing internal business process improvements and testing PeopleSoft functionality.
