Position: PeopleSoft Financials Functional Analyst
Location: Lisle, IL 60532
Duration: 5 months, long term contract to hire position

Looking for a candidate interested in Contract to Hire.
Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship.

The PeopleSoft Financials Functional Analyst provides functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials modules. Analyzes business requirements and creates functional specifications to meet business requirements.
Provides functional expertise in identifying and evaluating requirements, testing and configuring PeopleSoft Financials modules. Plans and executes system, integration and user acceptance testing. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
At least of 5 years of strong functional experience in PeopleSoft Financials modules.
Possess deep understanding of the end to end processes from a functional perspective.
Strong experience in Asset Management, Accounts Payables, General Ledger and Travel Expense modules.
Experience with Project Costing, Contracts, Billing and Accounts Receivables modules will be an added plus.
Strong functional experience working with customizations in PeopleSoft Financial Applications.
Experience working in integration of external systems with PeopleSoft Financials. Experience in creating PS Queries.
Assist in the design, development, system, User Acceptance Testing of PeopleSoft Financial modules. Assist with Month-end reconciliation issues.
Provide support for all the configuration changes. Ability to work in functional support role and/or new implementation projects and enhancements.
Facilitate requirement sessions with process owners to identify and document business requirements and prepare functional design documents.
Proficient with documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, support documentation, user guides, workflow processes and test cases.
Experience in planning developing, executing and documenting results of System testing and User acceptance testing.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional and project teams within Finance and IT organizations.
Assist in the training and orientation of other team members and functional end users.
Manage the requirements through the project lifecycle by establishing and maintaining agreements between the customer and the project team.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels including executive management.
Proficient requirements meeting facilitator, demonstrated experience in facilitating sessions (10 to 20 people) using techniques to help define scope and requirements during the lifecycle.
Experience with SDLC and at least one or two project management methodologies.
