ACS group has an immediate need for a Penetration Tester with experience in GPS OR Firewall or Bluetooth OR Ethernet OR cellular OR Wireless OR Firmware. This is a 12 months contract opportunity (with long-term potential – only
include if relevant) and is located in Plano,TX.
Position: Penetration Tester
Location: Plano,TX
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities:
1.Penetration testing on connected car components – component and vehicle ecosystem test
2.Reverse Engineering, Firmware extraction and analysis
3.Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment on architecture design
4.Development and maintenance of tools used for internal vehicle penetration testing
5.Document test procedure
6.Automate test cases
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Knowledge and experience working on embedded module security testing
2.Security testing experience on Server-Client models, Web/ Mobile Application.
3.Knowledge of digital and wireless communication and familiarity with communication technologies such as TCP/IP, USB, Cellular, Ethernet, Bluetooth, WiFi and CAN and GPS
4.Use of IDA Pro, fuzz testers, network analyzer, CAN Network Tools, threat modeling and risk management tools
5.Experience with writing requirements, test procedures and use case development
6.General understanding of CAN network, Ethernet, firewalls and secure architecture
7.Automotive experience working on connected vehicle features would be a plus.
8.Experience using the Cellular Base station simulators would be a plus
9.Knowledge of connected car firmware update and OTA protocol would be a plus
