Job Purpose

The Payments Support Specialist is responsible for daily functions of the payments department and reports directly to the Head of Consumer Payments. The role encompasses fraud prevention responsibilities, ensuring McAfee is protected from fraudulent transactions attempted though the eshop.

Position Description:

Assist with day to day payments operations

Perform in-depth data analysis of payment success performance upon request

Preparation and distribution of departmental metrics and reports

Provide level 2 support on payments queries to customer facing teams when necessary

Manage payments requisitions for payments related vendors

Industry research on geo specific payments

Follow daily controls to detect, monitor, investigate and report fraudulent activity and take appropriate action

Maintain a log of Fraud escalations when they occur

Ensure 3rd party fraud risk management tools are calibrated to reflect similar fraud risk assessment criteria

Report on fraud, chargebacks, risk management success factors and other KPIs as required

Create and maintain ecommerce procedural documentation

Requirements:

Self-motivated, proactive individual with excellent problem solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive under continual deadline constraints while managing multiple on-going projects

2+ years of relevant payments and fraud prevention experience in a global ecommerce environment

Previous experience with fraud risk management tools. Experience with SafeTech/Kount desirable

Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent

Excellent knowledge of Excel with specific high competencies in data analysis, rules modelling, investigations and reporting.

Orientation on task fulfilment, prioritisation skills & sense of urgency

Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English language

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)

Self-reliant, accurate, loyal and emphasis on attention to detail

Orientation on task fulfilment with the ability to work in team
