Domain Skills
Qualification Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience 5-6 years product design experience in the area of Automotive Seating Trim
Software Required Software’s: Teamcenter, AccuMark, CATIA V5 & Master Trim
Option: Unigraphics NX11 is Pluse
Specialized Skills Automotive Seating Trim Product development process, Seating domain knowledge, Coordination with Offshore and MS Office

Job Responsibilities: -
Project coordinating with offshore team for current projects responsible for input, output and query responses
To understand and support ongoing seating trim design programs for Automotive seating systems for major OEM’s from concept development till prototype and testing.
Design, develop, validate and release for agile seating trim process to production which meets customer engineering specifications.
Validation, testing, coordination with offshore team for proper level parts and drawings.
Create and maintain product designs and specifications with the help of CATIA V5 with Mastertrim and Teamcenter.
Prepare CAD Design drawings and modeling for change management.
Develop component and assembly level drawings at development stage
Prepare Header Card in excel and AccuMark model’s validation proposal on new components and assemblies.
Working with suppliers and customers for getting better product and meet their requirements respectively
Support for prototype drawing and documentation.
Support for validation testing Trim assembly submission and documentation.
Prepare technical reports of engineering studies for management review
Understanding the requirement and converting them to possible design solutions to offshore team
Implementation of modeling techniques using the global design guidelines provided by the customer
Engineering changes on CAD model and Manufacturing drawing as per client specification.
Identifying Value addition opportunities and providing value addition solution to the customers
Monitoring of internal/External defects and lead discussion on such issues and preventive actions in weekly team meeting.
