Job Title: PL/SQL & Java Support Lead (ITIL)

Technical/Functional Skills
* Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL programming – Packages and Procedures
* Familiarity with Java based web or standalone application
* Familiarity with Linux basic commands and shell scripting
Experience Required
* Programming skills in PL/SQL and Java
* Excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution
* Knowledge of ITIL processes, for example: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management etc.
* Understanding of Pharma drug manufacturing processes is a plus
Desired
* Experience in Java Web services
* Knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting.
Roles & Responsibilities
* To work as Onsite co-coordinator and coordinate with an offshore team for redesign/re-architect of application
* Gather the requirement from the client and review the requirement documents for feasibility
* Understand the requirement from client and explain to offshore team
* Help offshore team in any technical issues
* Work with deployment team/infrastructure team to move the code across various environments
* Outage management and planning
* Lead all the activities assigned to him/her for respective application
* Architectural design reviews, including alignment with future state architecture, evaluation of technology alternatives, cost impact analyses and consistency across Information Systems
* Work as per ITIL processes
Generic Managerial Skills
* Resource should be quick learner and self-driven; capable of meeting with Business Users and working cross-functionally to define requirements, configure and deploy solutions
* Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively to meet defined delivery levels in a customer facing role
Education: Bachelor Degree (4+ yrs)
