Job Description:
Billing Implementation project - NYSIF’s legacy Billing System is being moved to the cloud. Legacy systems must be adapted to accommodate this change in the batch processing environment.
Key deliverable for the above project is to assist in the Data Conversion and Integration processes. Development of testing scenarios and scripts as needed. Post-production support.
NY Statewide Offset Program project (SWOP)
This project requires the generation of new output files and the ingestion of new incoming files. Interaction with an external vendor, mounting of a new system to track SWOP status and process SWOP payments.
The duties of the consulting resource would be to plan, develop, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:
Pre-Implementation:
- Design and document system and subsystem components
- Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages and triggers to integrate with new and existing software
- Develop / Modify print jobs, as necessary
- Develop batch applications using Oracle
- Develop online applications using JavaScript, .net and Oracle
- Develop with modern Web development frameworks
Post-Implementation:
- Monitoring and reporting on the status of daily WC and DB print job processing
- Troubleshooting and remediating production issues, as warranted
- Providing remediation for Help Desk tickets submitted by business users
- Develop and test solutions to resolve issues or to provide enhanced features to the existing product
The consultant will adhere to NYSIF’s application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC, Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.
