General
- A leading company is seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both
back-end and front-end development.
- Exclusive WordPress development including creating WordPress themes and
plugins.
- This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP,
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
- Knowledge with the responsive and adaptive design is preferred.
- Experience with other frameworks such as Laravel, CakePHP, Zend will be
preferred.
- Should possess knowledge on setting up deployment processes and possess
experience on GIT
- Should be able to do Server Configurations and Management (Linux) and
Performance tuning
- Working with CI tools and automated build development will be preferred
- Should review and optimize code for peers and ensure code is unit tested
- AWS EC2 hands on
Front-End Skills :
- HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, XML, XHTML and other
JavaScript libraries, Bootstrap and Responsive Design.
- Knowledge on Ecommerce (Payment Gateways, Shopping Carts, SEO Friendliness
Coding, etc
- Should have the knowledge to customize, code, optimize plugins and
integrate with other 3rd party systems
Back-End Skills:
- Experience in themes, plugins, widgets, WordPress filters, WordPress
hooks and CRM etc.
- Working with different Wordpress page builders. i.e Divi Builder, ACF Pro
etc.
- Strong knowledge in Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML & knowledge of
working with third party web services
- Working experience in API service development for consumption in mobile
application / Angular Portal
Database:
- Good with database designs for fairly complex web applications
Job Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing
technical guidance / solutions for work completion
- To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in
technical discussions/review
- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical
capabilities and increasing productivity
- Identify growth opportunities to support projects in an online environment
with regular discussions with all stakeholders
- QA all programming changes, fixes and updates as needed, work with the
designers and test sites to ensure functionality
- Create accurate estimates of implementation times and report on progress
