What We’re Looking For
Candidates will have successfully performed a variety of software development roles on Android mobile application delivery projects - at least one of which will have been a complex, enterprise project or program. In addition,
we’re looking for people with:
An expert in PHP with 8/8+ yrs of total development exp.
3+ years of experience (familiarity with Laravel framework is preferred)
Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines.
Experience with Angular/JavaScript
Familiarity with LAMP stacks and near real time data services
Experience with SQL is preferred
Experience with Redis and Node.js is preferred
Strong ‘Software Engineering’ fundamentals and practical experience
Strong Object Oriented skills
Quality led development focus (version control, unit testing, CI etc
Knowledge of formal methodologies and agile or iterative techniques (SCRUM, XP, DSDM, RUP etc
Engagement Types
We undertake a wide variety of work and although no two engagements are the same, an engagement will typically cover:
Project Delivery Working within a team on the end-to-end delivery of software projects for our clients, our developers use industry best-practice techniques to design, implement and then deliver solutions.
Projects may be delivered using our Enterprise Agile approach, or the clients preferred method, and may be a pure company team or an integrated company/client team.
Consultancy Clients turn to us for development-based consultancy services such as the design and development of their IT systems, reviewing their existing technology stack and providing strategic input for future extensions to their IT systems. These are both advisory and in project delivery capacity at client sites.
Engagements may be delivered from our own office in Manhattan but are more likely to be at one of our client office locations in the New York greater metropolitan area - an element of travel and flexibility is part of the job. (pays any expenses exceeding a normal commute
