Positions: (2) PHP Developers
Location: Troy, MI Work 1 day a week from home
Top 3 Skillsets:
1) 2 years of PHP Development experience.
2) Be able to work in a team environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience.
2+ years of professional-level Object Oriented PHP 5 Development experience, including experience with MVC frameworks
Ability to explain complex ideas and concepts to business users
Experience with Web Standards philosophes and modern XHTML/HTML/HTML5/CSS markup
Experience designing databases and writing efficient SQL queries
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ability to deal with multiple projects & deadlines
Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values and procedures
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
It’s a plus if you’ve worked with:
PostgreSQL Database Design and Administration
Symfony2, Laravel, Zend or similar frameworks
SOAP, REST, ElasticSearch or SOLR
Message Que technologies such as RabbitMQ or ZeroMQ
Automation technologies such as Ansible or Puppet
Git source control and Gitflow git workflow
Linux/Ubuntu, Command Line, Bash, VIM or Shell Scripting
Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, Stash, Bamboo and Crowd
