Summary The PHP Web Developer is part of our IT Team and is responsible for building and managing the eCommerce websites and internal web-based applications. They will be working with their department to identify opportunities of improvement in system functionality, usability, and optimization. This person reports directly to the CIO & SVP of Professional Services. Job Responsibilities • Development and Maintenance o Maintain current ecommerce sites on legacy platforms (Kohana/Zend/Magento) o Develop new functionality and maintain eCommerce websites o Develop new functionality and maintain internal web-based productivity applications • Participate in migration of both data and new features to new platform (Magento) • Manage releases to all environments • Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications • Design, develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards • Write program specifications; perform systems analysis and design; write program documentation in accordance with standards • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software • Assist team development efforts towards successful project delivery • Special projects as necessary Accountabilities and Performance Measures • Accuracy of Work • Timeliness of Work • Customer Satisfaction • Strong customer service skills applications • Detail oriented
