PEGA Architect
Location: San Jose, CA. This position may require relocation and or 80% travel.

Qualifications

Basic

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

Pega product knowledge and Certified Pega Business Architect
Telecom, Manufacturing, Hi Tech Domain Knowledge with good Industry experience
Consulting experience,
Expertise in cross-domain business processes
Analytical and Communication skills
Project, talent management and thought leadership
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
Run requirement workshops with customers to gather requirements
Gather and analyze detailed business & system requirements
Map business processes and prepare process flows/flow charts of functionality desired
Prepare customer journey maps
Assist in the preparation of high level solution definition
Convert business requirements into technical specifications
Provide a feedback loop on potential impact on package solution for any business process or 3rd party package related constraints
Prepare system test plans and perform system testing.
Assist in System & Integration testing
Coordinate with other project teams on high level scope and solution related things

Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of experience in Information Technologies.

Preferred
Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) is responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks. Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega
At least 5 years in experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
At least 4 years of experience in hand’s on application development experience in Pega PRPC v5.x/v6.x/v7.x and Pega frameworks.
Should be certified CSSA/CLSA in Pega PRPC v6.x/v7.x
At least 4 years of experience in either J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), web development (JSP/Java script/CSS), .Net or any object oriented programming language.
Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features
Works in conjunction with Program Manager to size, manage scope and risk
Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success.
Experience and desire to work in Global offshore/onshore model.

Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) is to work with customers/business to elicit and document business requirements and follow best practices in implementing requirements, leveraging the Pega product

Should be Pega Certified Business Architect(CBA)/DCO
Understand and document/model the customer''s business process, business requirements, and business rules. Translate these items into user stories/use cases.
At least 4 years of BA experience with at least 3 years of experience in Pega application
