Overall Responsibilities -Business
Comprehend business strategies, requirements and understand goals and objectives
Actively listen to client problems and needs to implement that information when creating solution plans
Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects
Identify where Google Cloud can be leveraged to provide effective solutions
Develop necessary designs and plans to ensure GCP solutions satisfy those needs
Collaborate with client account leaders (GCP and CP) to develop costs and timelines for solutions
Overall Responsibilities -PCF/ Google Cloud Specific
Create Reference Architectures to provide templates for the design of effective s and consistent of use of Google Cloud
Act as thought leader in the area of PCF and Google Cloud Platform
Liaise with Google on important PCF technical issues and identify resolutions
Understand and develop strong understanding of new technologies and innovations being put forth by Google
Keep PCF and GCP skills continuously updated and remain proactively aware of new products and services being introduced
Technical Responsibilities
Lead technical authority on PCF and PCF on Google Cloud
Create and lead the L3 support team for Google Cloud/PCF
Design the PCF technical architecture(s) to provide solutions meeting the overall business requirements
Expert in Google GKE
Assess and evaluate risk
Lead the implementation of technical solutions
Experience Requirements and Qualifications
Degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field
Certification in Google Cloud Platform is necessary (Google Cloud Architect)
Experience for deploying and running PCF (platform upgrades, rollbacks, capacity planning) on Google Cloud
Knowledge of cloud components, virtualization, containers (Kubernetes and Google container engine) and container orchestration, middleware, Google App engine, micro-services architecture
Good experience on developing solution using Google Cloud client libraries, cloud SDK, Data store, cloud functions for event driven processing, managing API using Google cloud end points
Understanding of deployments using Google cloud Container Builder, Google Cloud Container Registry, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to explain complex technical topics in an easily digestible manner as part of a team.
