Job Title: PACKAGING AND DISPENSING OPERATORS-multiple positions
Work Location: Dayton
Pay: $13 per hour
Biogensys is currently hiring Packaging and Dispensing Operators-multiple positions for Global Pharmaceutical Company
Essential Functions:
Operator’s responsibility includes:
1. Clean and/or disassemble packaging line and equipment e.g. Unscrambler, desiccant inserter, tablet counter, cotton inserter, capper, induction sealer, retorquer, labeler, outserter, shrink wrap after the completion of packaging process as per SOP.
2. Clean manufacturing room after the completion of product run as per SOP.
3. Set up packaging line and equipment, including startup of batch and obtaining all packaging specifications.
4. Maintain packaging line and equipments in good working order, inspect packaging line and equipments for wear, and have any worn or malfunctioning parts evaluated and reported to Production Supervisor or Manager.
5. Maintain tools and supplies in proper condition.
6. Make any machine adjustments necessary during the packaging run as required.
7. Document all set up and cleaning in the log book and other pertinent paperwork.
8. Visually inspect the equipment as it is running to verify the equipments are running within normal and safe operation.
9. Perform in process checks during packaging process and document in Packaging Batch Record as per instruction of packaging batch record.
10. Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout and after run.
11. Perform any and all additional tasks relating to the operation of the packaging/production department as requested.
12. Follow company policies, cGMP’s and Standard Operating Procedures.
Dispensing Operator''s responsibility includes:
1. Clean the dispensing room after the completion of dispensing as per SOP.
2. Set up the dispensing room as per Sop’s, and as per specifications in Production Batch Record.
3. Document all set up and cleaning in the log book and other pertinent paperwork
4. To dispense the required approved raw material/packaging material from the warehouse as per SOP and Production Batch Record.
5. Check information of approved raw material/packaging material as per SOP and Production Batch Record.
6. Issue the raw material/packaging material as per Production Batch Record and record the issuance information in Production Batch Record, inventory card and other pertinent paperwork.
7. Enforce FIFO (First in First Out) on all material withdrawal.
8. Check expiry and retest date of all material before dispensing.
9. Store raw material and packaging material at qualified location in the warehouse after dispensing of the material.
10. Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse flooring and storage locations.
11. Perform daily calibration of floor scale to ensure that the scale is providing accurate information.
12. Check and perform daily inspection of electric forklifts and electric hand trucks.
13. Keep the staging area and dispensing room clean during the operation.
14. Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout and after dispensing.
15. Perform any and all additional tasks related to the warehouse department as requested.
16. Follow company policies, safety procedures, cGMP’s and Standard Operating Procedures.
Physical Work Activities and Exposure:
1. Work is regularly performed inside in a manufacturing environment.
2. Exposure to dust, odor, noise, and fumes.
3. The noise level is usually moderate.
4. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
5. Frequent sitting, talking, or hearing.
6. Use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects or controls.
7. Walk short distances. Clean and/or disassemble packaging equipments after the completion process
Job Requirements
No experience necessary.
Must be fluent in English as all safety and SOP training is done in English
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Looking for 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift:11pm-7am
