Job Description:

Billing system provides the functionality to process cash, refund, journal entries, non-payment cancellations and reinstatements.

iPCA is an in-house developed system designed to process premium transactions. The system provides the functionality to process new business, policy renewals, premium audits and other premium transactions.

iPRS is an in-house developed system designed to process policy renewal transactions.
EPS is an in-house developed system designed to manage premium audits.

Disability (DBL) Policy System manage premium computation, audits, renewal and new business processing of disability policies.

The duties of the consulting resources would be to Analyze, Design, Implement and Maintain software systems to support in-house IT Teams in support of any of the following:

Maintenance, integration, enhancements and end user support for NYSIF’s worker’s compensation, disability benefit and paid family leave systems.

Enhancing, modifying the processes of Renewal & Earned Premium system for premium & SIF MOD Computation. Integrating CIRB rating system, PayGo system & claims dependent Bornhuetter-Ferguson Loss ratio system with renewal & audit system.

Maintaining and enhancing of the attribute based access control system integrated with Policy Renewal system.
Udating the existing SIF Web Framework system from .net framework 2.0 to .net framework 4.5 and enhancing it to be browser neutral.

Troubleshooting and remediating production issues, as warranted. Develop and test solutions to resolve issues or to provide enhanced features to the existing product. Feeding all necessary data to the data warehouse/business intelligence system.

Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages and triggers to integrate with existing software. Develop online applications using JavaScript, .net and Oracle.

The consultant will adhere to NYSIF’s application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.

1. At least 24 months experience with Innotas #of months 4
2. At least 24 months experience with Visual Build Pro 7 or later #of months 8
3. At least 24 months experience with HP Quality Center #of months 4
4. At least 60 months’ experience in development, support and implementation of software to process premium calculations, renewals, audits, and ratings for NYS workers’ compensation and disability insurance #of months 20
5. At least 84 months experience with oracle PL/SQL #of months 12
6. At least 36 months experience with Visual Studio 2010 or Newer to create, debug and deploy web applications #of months 16
7. At least 36 months experience with Cnet #of months 4
8. At least 60 months experience with development of API’s to process XML data #of months 8
9. At least 60 months experience with XSLT #of months 4
