Job Description :
Role: Oracle and PL/sql Developer
Location: Fairfax, VA
Client: HPE (DXC)
Duration: 1 year with a chance of extension. (Estimated start date is 10/2/2017)
Work Authorization: US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance or have already had one.

Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Required Qualifications:

At least 6 years of experience SQL, PL/SQL, DDL and DML
Strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL backend development.
Experience working within Oracle 12c is a huge plus
Proficient with data manipulation, data refresh on multiple databases
Must have worked with huge amounts of data
Lead and manage workload among team members
Effectively prioritize the task backlog based on client needs
Track requests, standardize processes as needed.
Manipulate data in Microsoft Excel and Oracle databases.
Work with the team on new reporting and ETL specifications.
Develop and document efficient processes to improve data integrity within the team.
Assist in user acceptance validation and/or end user training as needed.

Position qualifications are as follows:

Data analysis experience with solid background in SQL
Experience writing complex queries to uncover data discrepancies.
Ability to respond to ad hoc requests for data and information.
Strong skills in reporting, business intelligence and metrics.
Strong data quality and analysis skills are necessary.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data. Mainly in Microsoft Excel and Oracle12C.
Solid experience in Excel for data analysis and visualization.
Ability to work effectively with clients, data managers and other technical staff.
Ability to present complex information in an understandable manner.
Ability to recognize problems, take initiative, solve problems, and work independently.
Programming knowledge in a scripting language.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Very good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, communicative, responsible.


Additional Provisions:
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
All candidates must be a US Citizen.
Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for the past five years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members
All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.

Place and Period of Performance

Hours of support:
o The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday.
o Contract staff may be required to travel to support business efforts.

PoP: through 09/30/2018 with expected renewal
