Job Description :
Position: Oracle Support Engineer

Location: Framingham, MA

Duration: 12 Months

Accepted Visa: USC /GC / H1B / EAD - GC & TN

Roles and responsibility:

Support application for multiple customers.
Identify defects and provide fixes.
Implement enhancements to application
Maintain high quality of work products.
Manage multiple job duties through efficient task management.
Communicate effectively with business partners and clients when needed.

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:

Oracle Applications implementation and administration
System architecture, data structure, relational analysis, and database modeling and design
Developing and administering reports from the Oracle systems based on end user requirements and input
Working with and supporting the Oracle DBA as well as working with Oracle Support when required
Translating business requirements into functional specifications for the Systems Development team and ensuring development results match the identified needs
Expressing ideas for process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce administrative costs, and increase effective interactivity with customers
Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results in daily duties and special projects
Other responsibilities as may be determined by the Accounting Manager

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills:

Good/intermediate command of English
Solid knowledge of SQL, query processing, data replication, distributed systems, storage optimizations and more
Ability to develop, test and release new features and functions from our database roadmap
Familiarity with scale-out (sharding) technology preferred
