Job Description :
Required:
5+ years of hands-on software & DBA development experience with Oracle 10g,11g and 12c or higher
Work in a structured environment designing and developing Database and Data Warehouse Applications and Solutions
Application development experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and Shell Scripting
Experience with ETL solution design and development, techniques and methodologies
Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS, both in Data Warehouse and OLTP environments
Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task across multiple projects
Work with QA/Test team to resolve deficiencies
A background with systems operating in a 24x7 production environment.
Experience with Oracle Tools, Utilities and Performance Improvement
Experience using Indexes, Partitions, Materialized Views
Ability to develop and execute ad-hoc data conversion routines quickly
Experience with Linux and Shell scripting
Analysis and design skills using Industry Standard Data Warehousing Concepts
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Individual must be a team player, receptive to new ideas and concepts and willing to embrace them when final determinations are made.
Preferred / Desired:
Experience in transportation or violations processing a plus.
A background in large scale transaction processing.
Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience a plus.
Experience working in a team environment where team members are geographically dispersed.
