Role : Oracle R12 Finance Functional Consultant

Job Description :

Technical/Functional Skills :
Experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant in R12.2.x
Excellent understanding of Account Receivables business functions
Excellent understanding of General Ledger business functions
Excellent understanding of AR revenue recognition process
Should be well versed with Auto Invoice process, Accounting Rules and Sub ledger Accounting
Experience in participating Upgrade projects is must
Experience in Participating in Business Reengineering engagement, Implementations
Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging and complex endeavors, as demonstrated by successful team experience
Strong interpersonal as well as written and spoken communication skills
Ability to work directly and communicate effectively with all levels and groups across the organization and provide useful information in a complete, accurate, and understandable manner
Basic Technical understanding is required
Experience in PL/SQL, and Exposure to Bolt on systems will be added advantage
Experience in creating and implementing business processes is a plus.
Experience in Onsite/Offshore is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Work directly with Business User as an Oracle Finance functional expert
Assist customer in deciding any application set-up changes required in new Release 12.2.X environment
Implement new functional capabilities after proper due diligence, go-ahead from business and after multiple rounds of testing
Key User Training for new functionalities enabled
Creation of end user training material for new functionalities enabled in 12.2.X
Update existing training material for changes
Gather, analyze business requirements and perform Fit-Gap analysis
Write Business Requirement Documents
Write Functional Design Documents
Analyze and provide solution to issues while setting up
Explain the business requirement to other team members in the project
Create and execute test scenarios in various test environments
Need to provide functional application support to end users
Works closely with users during user acceptance testing phase
Experience in Supporting all Oracle Finance Hub modules
Manage production support and enhancement teams.
Meet the ITIL expectations and SLAs
Must have hands-on SQL and PL/SQL knowledge is an advantage

Build and maintain relationship with customer key contacts and show acumen to suggest and run process improvement initiatives.
