Required Skills:
Experience performing technical IT support of Oracle’s Primavera EPPM Application (P6), which includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and making recommendations on configuration changes.
Experience with Primavera EPPM system architecture, including experience installing, configuring, and upgrading versions.
Experience with P6 scheduling, EPS, WBS, Activities, OBS, UDF, Global schedule services (GSS), Publishing, Resource assignment, user security setup.
Experience researching and resolving Primavera publication/scheduling/summarization or other Job Services. Perform root cause analysis in the event of Job Services errors.
Solid understanding of Primavera’s application functionality and system architecture, including how the job services are used and configured (GSS, Publishing, Scheduling Ensure job service application settings meet recommended specifications for the varying business needs in each tier.
Experience tuning Primavera’s configurations for optimal performance (threads, connections pools, lease durations), so daily errors are addressed.
Experience with Primavera Product suite, and strong ability to analyze and resolve system and data issues.
Research and resolve publication/scheduling/summarization or other Job Services. Perform root cause analysis in the event of Job Services errors. Recommend and/or implement solution to fix errors.
Assist in the resolution of Oracle Service Requests (SRs) by providing the necessary information and/or performing requested tasks as determined by Oracle.
Development experience with the API and Java, which is used to interact with Primavera data.
Work with business areas to gather and understand business requirements and translate to technical requirements for implementation;
Use a ticketing system to track and manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes.
