Required Skills:
At least 12 months experience in IAIABC Standards with Workers’ compensation insurance.
At least 12 months experience with Workers’ compensation Insurance to maintain and support creation of claims.
At least 36 months experience with Microsoft CNet and Object Oriented Programming.
At least 48 months experience in using Microsoft Team Foundation Server in a Microsoft Windows environment, including experience in check-in/check-out.
At least 72 months experience in Oracle development, PL/SQL development including Triggers, Packages, Procedures, functions, views, and Advanced Queuing.
At least 12 months experience with Innotas.
At least 36 months experience with JavaScript and JQuery.
At least 24 months experience with HP Quality Center.
At least 36 months experience in XSLT development.
At least 36 months experience in XML development.
Description:
State of New York: New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF)
Short Description: Development and Integration enhancements for the WCB eClaims project. WCB has mandated NYSIF to comply with the "International Association of Industrial Accident Boards & Commissions" (IAIABC) standards in order to electronically send C2, VF2, VAW2, EC669, C7, C8, C8.6 data to the WCB. Several core NYSIF claims applications such as eFROI, NCS, CONNECTS, Comppay, eFile/eForm, ARS batch needs to be enhanced to comply with IAIABC standard.
Responsibilities:
The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, streamline, create, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:
o Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers for IAIABC forms.
o Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers for SROI data from Comppay system.
o Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers for implementing WCB IAIABC monthly/quarterly statutory changes.
o VB.Net executable for processing Acknowledgment SROI/FROI/Sweep/Sub-Annual files received from WCB.
o ASP.Net Web application to provide NYSIF business users with summary of all FROI and SROI transactions.
o Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers for storing and processing WCB Payor Compliance Penalty into NYSIF MedPay and Claims Batch Systems.
o Oracle stored procedures, packages for New Case System changes due to IAIABC requirements.
o Loss service changes due to IAIABC requirements.
o Interfacing with the various claims systems to integrate specific claim information.
o Feeding all necessary data to the data warehouse/business intelligence system.
The consultant will adhere to NYSIF''s application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.
