Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Peapack NJ (Must Be Onsite)
Max rate :$50/hr
Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend modules using SQL and PL/SQL technologies.
5 Years of Oracle PL/SQL experience.
Developing Oracle PL/SQL packages/Types/Procedures/Functions/Triggers that include collections, ref-cursors to pass the data between Java application and the database.
Working knowledge in tools to load and retrieve data from Oracle database – SQL Plus, Toad, SQL Loader.
Tune SQL queries for better application and system performance.
Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.
Develop UNIX and Shell script to automate various database jobs.
Design, model, and develop changes for both new and existing projects.
Create Design, Technical, Installation and Requirement specification verification documents.
To be able to work with cross-functional business and technology teams.
Work with team members from beginning of product lifecycle through application release.
Act as mentor to other developers on programming issues.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Requirements
Thorough understanding of Oracle / SQL Server Database Architecture.
Expertise with Oracle database 11g / 12c is required.
Expert knowledge in the below technologies
o Oracle PLSQL packages/Types/Procedures/Functions/Triggers/ Ref Cursors/Collections.
o SQL Queries Tuning.
o Unix Shell Scripting.
Experience with tools to load and retrieve data from Oracle database – Oracle Developer, SQL Plus, Toad, SQL Loader.
