Job description:
The first two weeks would need to be on-site at Windsor CT. The rest of the time could be partial weeks and possibly not on-site
6+ years’ experience in a logistics operations management and/or management consulting in transportation management systems, plus:
6+ years of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) configuration experience (rates, itineraries, planning parameters, event management, settlements; plus agents, SQL, and integration, etc. TL and LTL required, private fleet management experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Deliverables:
''A GTM BR-100 covering configurations for mock trade transactions, trade compliance rules, license management rules - training documentation for GTM
Identifying and documenting business process improvements in carrier management, order management, optimization & planning (setting up OTM Bulk Planner), shipment execution and freight settlements, especially auto-pay configuration
Facilitating client sessions for requirements definition and process and system design
Configuring OTM with carriers, buy and sell rates, calendars, geographies, itineraries, etc.
Developing custom agents
Writing custom SQL queries to meet client requirements
Developing implementation documentation and training materials
Migrating configured DEV instance to PROD
Helping clients to adapt best business processes, as enabled by OTM, and working closely with clients and internal project teams to achieve implementation goals and ROI
Supporting client Super-users and “Training the Trainers” during project deployment and transition phases
