JOB DESCRIPTION:
This technical position will work directly with the State of Maine Oracle Middleware manager implementing Oracle Middleware products (WebLogic, JAVA, OTD, Forms & Reports, OBIEE, APEX, SOA, OPA) 12cR2 on an Exalogic platform for approximately 100+ legacy applications. The state desires an expert level knowledge to work directly with the middleware team on the successful migration of all applications from 11g to 12cR2.
50%: Oracle 12cR2 WebLogic Migration of JAVA, OBIEE, Forms & Reports, PL/SQL, MOD PL/SQL, Restful web services
25%: Oracle 12cR2 Fusion Middleware security implementation, FIPS 140-2, Oracle Native encryption
25%: Oracle 12cR2 Fusion Middleware high availability & failover activities & OEM 13c use and implementation
REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Oracle Middleware tier products listed above from architecting, to installation, configuration, to securing, to recoverability to disaster recovery.
Expertise of migration of Oracle Middleware from 11gR2 to 12cR2.
Extensive middleware administration experience with 11gR2 & 12cR2 for WebLogic, JAVA, OTD, Forms & Reports, OBIEE, APEX, SOA, OPA
Expertise in performance tuning middleware components
Expertise in Oracle Exalogic architecture
Unix/Linux: Advanced
Exadata/Exalogic Platform: Advanced
Oracle RDBMS/Fusion Middleware: Advanced
Experience within the following areas are required:
Large scale Oracle 12c upgrades for middleware
Conducting Exalogic implementations
PREFERRED:
Expertise in Exalogic quarterly patch management, to include rolling patches
Expertise in backup and recovery strategy for Oracle Fusion Middleware
Expertise in Siteguard
Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (13c), Oracle Grid Control and Oracle Cloud Control
Expertise with Oracle ZFS storage appliance
Experience with scripting languages, such as, PL/SQL, JAVA
Experience in managing delivery of backend, middle-tier and web projects using technology stack like Java, J2EE, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
WLST/JYTHON scripting experience
