Job Description :
Oracle federal financials R12 user training on General Ledger, Sub-Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payables, ,Oracle Payments, Accounts Receivables, Oracle Purchasing and Fed Admin modules.
Participates in Department and/or Program wide system R12 upgrade that affect the accounting procedures and day to day activities
Creates training material using Oracle UPK tool for all financial modules
Assists in providing training documentation for users across multiple departments
Assists in creating training data in training environments
Commercial financials experience is also accepted if the resource has strong skills with Financial modules.
Assist with SDLC documentation such as operations manuals and users guides
Assist with user acceptance testing if necessary
Acts as an interface between functional leads and user group
Works with management to define the user training templates and documents
Researches problems faced by users during the training and recommend solution in a team environment.
Skills / Experience:
Critical: Some Hands on user training or functional experience with GL, AR, AP, PO, SLA, and Federal Admin applications
Critical: Some Hands on experience with user documentation and training material
Critical: Experience with Oracle User Productivity Kit is preferred
Critical: 80 to 90 % Functional – 10% technical experience is required
Critical: Minimum of 1 to2 years of experience Oracle R12 federal financials experience on projects in federal government organizations. Experience is needed on accounts payable, sub-ledger accounting, accounts receivable, general ledger, purchasing and Fedadmin
Critical: Clear understanding of federal business processes across all federal financial modules
Critical: Excellent Written and Spoken English skills
R12 functional junior level experience is preferred
Highly Desirable:
Proficiency with the most current Oracle UPK tool
Experience with Oracle financials training and preparing user manuals
Degree in computer science or business or accounting or related discipline
4 Years college degree in Accounting/Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred
