Oracle EBS/EDI Technical Consultant Job Details
The Oracle EBS/EDI Technical ConsultaOracle EBS/EDI Technical consultantnt will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing clients strategies and initiatives for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that EDI-related production and procedures are properly executed, including development, change requests, and enterprise integration projects. Specialist will also act as liaison between the end users and the IT staff implementing EDI-based applications.
Oracle EBS/EDI Technical Consultant Mandatory Skills
This role requires an Experienced Oracle EBS R12 Developer with EDI and ASN
10+ years of Hands on Oracle Applications EBS Technical
8+ years strong SCM Techno Functional experience.
1+ years experience in both Gentran and Sterling EDI - nice to have: ASN, Advanced Ship Notices (856)
EDI Purchase Orders (850/855) and EDI Invoices (810) nice to have.
Understand Oracle Applications technical Architecture in 11.5.10 and R12
Able to provide subject matter expertise to Client technical resources
Technical skills - APEX, PL/SQL, API's, UNIX, AOL, Forms, Reports, Discoverer, XML/BI Publisher, Workflow
Strong in handling multiple application development efforts.
Experience writing Technical Documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work as on onsite coordinator for offshore resources (if required)
Additional Skills
Proficient in data transmissions using AS2, SFTP and VAN
Experience in SQL programming and Unix shell scripting preferred
Willing to take on support responsibilities
Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail
Must possess the ability to perform successfully under pressure in a fast paced business environment.
