Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
10 Experience as an Oracle Reporting Lead for multiple large Oracle Financial reporting projects.
10 Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) solutions with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) for PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain
10 Experience documenting requirements, and tracking the test completion of requirements throughout project SDLC lifecycle
10 Experienced defining and implementing solutions to meet requirements to retain historic transactional data, and align the historic data with future financial transactional data
10 Experience writing detailed reporting Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), build, unit test.
10 Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization, including collaborating effectively on diverse teams
10 Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point)

Description:
The LCRA Enterprise Financial Operations Re-engineering (EFOR) Project is preparing for the re-engineering of PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2, Maximo 7.6 and Oracle Reporting data warehouse with a go-live on January 1, 2019 and is posting this position for the Reporting Lead of the project.

Currently, LCRA uses PeopleSoft 9.2 Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, Asset Management, Project Costing, Accounts Receivable and Billing With the re-engineering of PeopleSoft 9.2, the system may expand the PeopleSoft module scope to include the eProcurement, Inventory, and PeopleSoft HCM Time and Labor modules. Additionally, LCRA uses Maximo 7.6 Work Management, Asset Management, and Inventory Management. Reporting applications and integration tools include Informatica and ODI ETL, Oracle Business Analytics, Smartview, and Hyperion Essbase.

This Report Lead position will be responsible for the plan, design, build, test and deployment of the LCRA reporting solution through go-live. The worker must have extensive knowledge of what is required to change the architecture of an Oracle Reporting data warehouse to most effectively utilize the available technologies to meet LCRA financial, management and operational reporting requirements. Additionally, the worker must have extensive experience in the design, build, test and deployment of an Oracle Reporting data warehouse. This position requires leadership, multi-tasking, exercising initiative and independent judgment.

Duties for this position will include:

Responsible for capturing business requirements to meet LCRA reporting needs.
Responsible for creation of a Reporting Strategy deliverable to define the scope of Oracle Reporting data warehouse changes to meet LCRA reporting requirements.
Provide input to project management to estimate the level of effort required to execute the scope of work defined in the Reporting Strategy.
Responsible for documenting a Fit/Gap analysis in a requirements traceability matrix to describe if business requirements are met by the out-of-the-box capabilities of the Oracle reporting applications included in the Reporting Strategy.
Responsible for creating detailed ETL Functional Design Documents (FDD), ETL Interface Mappings and ETL Technical Design Documents (TDD) for all data to be extracted from LCRA PeopleSoft and Maximo applications.
Responsible for understanding any unique business process needs of LCRA and how they are best facilitated by the Oracle Reporting data warehouse applications.
Responsible for planning UAT, while coordinating and driving the resolution of any and all eProcurement defects.
Responsible for identification, documentation, and reporting of project risks to Project Manager and Project Team to determine the appropriate response strategy with the project manager;
Leads meetings to define the Reporting Strategy with subject matter experts (SME Continues working with SME throughout project including assigning and monitoring tasks, prioritizing, and optimizing implementation efforts;
Responsible for any modifications to security for Oracle Reporting Data Warehouse including changes to user roles, and access permissions.
Plans, executes and coordinates with the LCRA SME in meetings between stakeholders, EFOR project resources, and senior managers to ensure overall completeness, accuracy and quality of the end product;
Works with the technical team to design, and test modifications to the existing reporting solution, including data conversions, reports, ETL interfaces and reporting repository;
Responsible for execution of all reporting mock data conversions, and the resolution of the related defects prior to any test cycle (System, Integration, User Acceptance and Go-Live) scheduled throughout the project.
Responsible to work with the Technical Team to identify and document application performance test plans and test scenarios, and support building scripts and to address questions in execution of those performance tests.
Possesses Oracle reporting tool expertise of the following applications: Informatica and ODI ETL, Oracle Business Analytics, Smartview, and Hyperion Essbase.
Responsible for consistent use of project standardized processes and forms to manage project documentation, including but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, Key Design Decisions, Change Controls, Risk and Issue log, Scope Documentation, Configuration Documentation, Business Process Flows and other project documents as needed;
Responsible for supporting training and organizational impact activities including training plan, organizational impact assessment, training content and prepping training team materials before they are presented;
Takes an ownership role in the overall creation of the Oracle reporting solution related project delivery and milestones with LCRA SME/Business Owners and Project Team;
Works with LCRA Enterprise Financial Operations Re-engineering (EFOR) project Project Manager and Team Leads to identify, record, and mitigate risks while resolving issues throughout implementation as needed;
Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed;
Responsible for supporting deployment activities including an eProcurement module cutover plan deployment checklist and back-out plans for the Oracle reporting solution;
Provides various administrative services and reports necessary to control the project budget, schedule, scope and quality.

The worker should have a history of success leading reporting teams for Oracle Business Intelligence reporting applications using project management best practices.
