Role: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Austin,TX

Description:
A Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 8+ years of experience with Production and development environment support. Must have experience in working closely with application developers to design optimal data definition, data control and data manipulation techniques and in troubleshooting database related application and performance issues.

Required Experience:
5+ years of experience as Oracle database administration on a Unix Sun/Solaris environment.
Oracle DBA Certification is required.
Tuning SQL queries.
Oracle PL/SQL
Developing Unix Shell scripts and setting up cronjobs.
Providing on call support for production environments.
Toad, PL/Developer to identify and monitor user sessions and response time.
Production database health check.
Root cause analysis of database issues - session and trace data analysis
Import and export of schema or objects.
Oracle RAC database, SPARC SuperCluster
Transportable Tablespace (TTS)
Materialized view, Partitioned tables and global indexes.
Analyzing ADDM/AWR/ASH reports.
Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with large size databases > 2TB
Experience with Oracle 11g or Higher
ErWin to maintain logical database structure.
Sql*loader and external tables is required.
Implement database security
