Job Description :
5 plus years of experience performing database administration tasks in medium to large scale, Linux based Oracle RAC and ASM development and production environments, including design/modeling, SQL PL/SQL script development, monitoring, performance tuning, backups and recovery using RMAN, software installations and upgrades.
Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g and 12c database architecture and its implementation
Strong understanding of best practices in maintaining Oracle database systems.
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC and ASM
Strong knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and monitoring.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, utilities and scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, etc…)
Strong knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication including installation, upgrades, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting replication errors.
Hands on experience with Oracle OEM including monitoring, alerting, incident management and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of other relational and NoSQL database technologies such as MySQL, Dynamo DB and/or Couchbase is preferred.
Knowledge of AWS and related database technologies such as Oracle/MySQL RDS, Aurora and/or Dynamo is preferred
